Bellydance as a Healing Art
Pittsburgh Bellydancers available to Volunteer
Amethyst and her students/friends as well as her professional partners offer the gift of bellydance in the form of performances, workshops and other special events, and are available to donate time to various causes. Amethyst teaches workshops and accompanies her students in performing at healing sessions for cancer patients (organized by Aviva), fundraisers for various charities, and more. Amethyst organizes events, but also donates time to events organized by others. Healing Arts By Amethyst is always seeking mature, friendly, very responsible and reliable volunteers to assist with fundraiser event tasks and planning. Experience is helpful, but only necessary for some of the tasks. Tasks include performing, press-release-writing, advertising assistance, ad sales representatives, promoting, venue booking, event organizing and planning, event cleaning crew and more.
